RIZAL, Kalinga – Four individuals were arrested by combined police operatives and intelligence agents after they were said to have taken and butchered a cow inside a pasture land at Andarayan, Romualdez, here, Tuesday afternoon.
Senior Superintendent Brent Majaco, provincial director of the Kalinga Provincial Police Office, identified the arrested individuals as Benjamin Basiway Y Pasodag 46, married, farmer, Joven Tallongon, Rodolfo Esteban, Leonard Manganip, Bonifacio Dioferio and Junior Bogca and all residents of Andarayan, Santor, Rizal, Kalinga.
Initial police investigation showed the suspects allegedly took the cow owned by Rep. Allen Jesse C. Mangaoang and butchered the same inside his pasture land in the place of incident.
Once found to have been involved in the case, the four individuals will be charged with violation of the Anti-Cattle Rustling Law before the provincial prosecutor’s office.
