BAGUIO CITY March 12 – Two members of a local drug group and two others were arrested by anti-narcotics agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Cordillera early morning yesterday in a buy-bust operation inside a hotel room along Kisad Road, Baguio City.
Nalyn (not her real name), a 33-year old female resident of Crystal Cave and member of a local drug group was nabbed when she sold a heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu worth P3,000 to a PDEA-CAR operative.
Also arrested during the entrapment were alias Alma, 40 years old, resident of Crystal Cave and a member of a local drug group; alias Wilma, 39 years old and a resident of Labsan, Baguio City; and Clifford Lacambra Remolar, 48 years old, resident of QM Subdivision, Baguio City and a drug surrendered.
Confiscated during the operation were four sachets containing suspected shabu, the buy-bust money and several drug paraphernalia.
The suspects, who are temporarily detained inside the PDEA-CAR jail facility will be facing cases for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs), Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs), Section 12 (Possession of Drug Paraphernalia) and Section 15 (Use of Dangerous Drugs), Article II of Republic Act Number 9165 otherwise known as the “Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.”
