Cordillera’s No. 9 most wanted person arrested in Baguio

BAGUIO CITY – The region’s No. 9 top most wanted person facing rape charges was arrested by combined police operatives and intelligence agents based on a warrant in his alleged residence at Uabac, Camp 7, here, Sunday.

Senior Superintendent Ramil L. Saculles, City Director of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), identified the arrested wanted individual as Santiago Liano Ananayo, 23, married, taxi driver, in native of Mankayan, Benguet, and resident of Zig Zag Kennon Road, Barangay Camp 7, Baguio City..

He was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Sergio T. Angnganay of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 36 in Bontoc, Mountain Province for rape with no bail recommended for his temporary liberty.

The arrested wanted person was brought to the BCPO headquarters for documentation prior to his turnover to the issuing court for the proper disposal of the case filed against him.
