BANGUED, Abra May 24 – A 21-year old drug store attendant was injured after he was fired upon by two still unidentified motorcycle-riding armed men along Taft St., Zone IV, here, Tuesday night.
Police authorities identified the injured individual as John Balikasmaya Ragunton, 21, single, self-service attendant at Mercury Drug Store and a resident of Zone 7, Bangued Abra.
Initial police investigation showed the victim was on board a tricycle proceeding towards a food court in the area when he was fired upon by one of the armed suspects on board a motorcycle that overtook them.
The victim was rushed by the tricycle driver to the Seasres Memorial Hospital for medical treatment while the suspects are now the subject of a manhunt operation by responding police operatives.
Probers recovered from the tricycle several empty shells and fired bullets of a caliber .45 pistol which was used by the suspects in the perpetration of the crime.
