The City Government of Tabuk through its Task Force Raiders has included on its livelihood and skills enhancement as one of its packaged intervention for the 792 drug surrenderers a training on hair cutting.
Funded by the Public Employment Service Office (PESO), 55 surrenderers from five Tabuk barangays will receive a one- day training on hair cutting to be given by CasigaynKagawad Rizal Sta. Iñez.
Conducted on separate schedules beginning in April 2017, the drug surrenderers from Dagupan Centro and Casigayan, Dilag and San Julian will be grouped together and a separate session for Lacnogsurrenderers.
According to Divine Delos Santos of PESO, the training which was chosen by the surrenderers themselves was organized to provide additional skills and create livelihood opportunities for both local and foreign prospects at the same time instill safety, accuracy and positive work attitude that will transform them into better citizens.
Delos Santos also said that participants will receive hair cutting kits at the end of the training.
Lecture, demonstration, and sharing of technical expertise will be used as strategies for the activity.
On a similar report, the PESO has also given a training on fish processing to the 30 surrenderers of Lucog and Agbannawag on March 15 and 17 respectively.
