BAGUIO CITY – A 35-year old housewife died after she reportedly hanged herself inside the comfort room of their rented room at Lower Pinget here Monday night.
Senior Superintendent George D. Daskeo, officer-in-charge of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), declined to divulge the identity of the victim but described her to be 35 years old, a separated housewife and a resident of Lower Pinget, Baguio City.
Initial police investigation showed the victim was left behind in their boarding house by her live in partner for him to buy food outside but when the latter came back to their rented room, he was surprised to see that the lights of their room was already put off.
When her live in partner forcibly opened the door of their boarding house, he was surprised to see her hanging on the ceiling of their comfort room.
She was immediately rushed to the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC) for medical treatment but she was pronounced dead on arrival by attending physicians due to alleged lack of oxygen.
Probers are still conducting an investigation on whether or not there was foul play in the victim’s untimely demise considering the existence of other wounds on the victim’s body.
