BAGUIO CITY – The Artist Guild of La Union (AGLAUN) and some Baguio Artists showcased their works last February 18 at Baguio Museum on Governor Pack Road.
The AGLAUN leaded by their President Rodel Rillera together with some Baguio Artists leaded by Julmir Almirol organized the “Identity II Variations”.
The art exhibit typifies the diversity of artistic expressions of the participating artists of varied backgrounds professions and ethnicities.
The art exhibit is a celebration of local artists for Panagbenga 2017. The work of each artist is a testament to his/her reverence for nature and commitment to the role of an artist as a change agent. The materials, elements, symbols and the style reflect not only the artist’s distinct character but also embody the unique environment in which the artist is part of.
The aim of the Identity II Variations art exhibit is to promote awareness of the threats to our environment and encourage participation to protect and care for Mother Earth.
