LA TRINIDAD, Benguet March 31 – An 18-year old laborer was injured and is now undergoing observation in a government hospital after he was allegedly electrocuted while performing his regular routine at the Benguet State University (BSU) Entrepreneur building, Balili, here, Thursday.
Chief Inspector Benson Macli-ing, chief of the La Trinidad Municipal Police Station, identified the victim as Raymund Ebreo Mejia, 18, single, and a stay-in worker at the BSU Entrepreneur building, Km. 5, Balili, La Trinidad, Benguet.
Initial police investigation showed the victim was at the second floor of the said structure doing his regular routine when he accidentally got in touch with a live wire that caused his electrocution.
He was rushed to the Benguet General Hospital (BeGH) for medical treatment and is now undergoing medical treatment.
