BANGUED, Abra January 13 – A 32-year old man was injured after he was stabbed by his drinking companion in the residence of their neighbour at Sagap, here, Friday dawn.
Police identified the victim as a certain Romarick Blaza Billedo, 32, married while the suspect was named as Darwin “Puraw” Galera, legal age, both residents of Barangay Sagap, Bangued, Abra.
Initial police investigation showed the victim and the suspect were having a drinking spree inside the residence of their neighbour when a heated altercation suddenly erupted between them hat escalated into a fistfight.
After a few moments, the suspect then stabbed the victim on his chest with the use of a bladed weapon and then immediately fled towards an undisclosed direction.
Concerned neighbors rushed the victim to the Abra Provincial Hospital for medical treatment but he was advised to be confined due to a lone stab wound on his chest.
The suspect is now the subject of a manhunt operation for him to answer for the crime that he committed due to alleged misunderstanding as a result of being under the influence of liquor.
