BAGUIO CITY – A 38-year old marketing agent was arrested by combined police operatives and anti-narcotics agents after having found in his possession suspected illegal drugs and assorted drug paraphernalia inside a transient house along Abanao St. here, recently.
Senior Superintendent George D. Daskeo, city director of the Baguio City Police Office, identified the arrested individual as Mark Yu Ong, 38, married, marketing agent, a resident of Banaue Avenue, Quezon City.
The arrest of the suspect was due to the timely report made by a security guard that the suspect was offering him the use of illegal drugs.
Confiscated from his possession were one heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be Methamphetamine Hydrochloride or Shabu weighing approximately 1.5 grams; one plastic tooter; two (blue and red) lighters; one surgical scissor; 12 pieces transparent sachets; four rolls of aluminum foils; and Black wallet.
The arrested person and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the BCPO headquarters for documentation prior to the filing of the appropriate charges against him before the city prosecutor’s office.
