BAGUIO CITY – A 25-year old student was injured after he was mauled and stabbed by four male suspects in front of a grocery along Abanao St., here, Thursday.
Senior Superintendent George D. Daskeo, City Director of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), identified the victim as Saul Bulligan Immatong, 25, single, student, and a resident of Dreamland Subdivision, Upper Pinget, Baguio City while he named the suspects as Emmanuel Daweg Colas, 26, single, Security Guard under Side Kick Security Agency and residing in Tuyong, Pico, La Trinidad, Benguet; Edwin Kayachen Lumatac, 20, single, waiter and residing at no. 72 Pinsao Pilot, Project, Baguio City; Glendon Litawen Waguis, 23, single, waiter and residing at Camp 3, Tuba, Benguet; Jordan Liwan Bangsail, 25, single, waiter and stay-in at Red 7 Bar, Ola Hotel, Abanao Street, Baguio City.
Initial police investigation showed that the victim and his companion had a drinking session inside a bar along Abanao Street and when they left, his companion reported that he left his mobile phone in the establishment that prompted them to go back to the bar.
The victim’s companion allegedly become unruly until the cashier of the establishment returned to him the missing mobile phone.
When the victim and his companion left the bar, they were followed by the suspects and upon reaching the frontage of the grocery, they allegedly mauled the victim.
The victim and his companion went home but when they arrived home, his companion noticed that the victim had a punctured wound prompting them to go to the Pines City Doctors Hospital for medication where he was later confined for observation due to a lone stab wound on his abdomen.
The case against the suspects were subsequently filed before the city prosecutor’s office for further investigation.
