Three students hurt in Baguio vehicular accident

Three students were hurt when the passenger jeepney they were riding flipped into a vacant lot.

The case of Reckless Imprudence Resulting in Damage to Property with Physical Injuries transpired at around 6:45 AM on October 11, 2018 at Lower Kitma Road, Bakakeng Central, Baguio City involving a multi-colored passenger jitney described as Mitsubishi Fuso driven by Christian Mark Quintero Tuguinay, 22, single and a resident of Lower Kitma, Bakakeng Central, Baguio City.

Investigation disclosed that the vehicle was ascending at the place of incident with more or less twenty passengers and while traversing thereat, the driver tried to shift the lever from second to first gear but it did not enter causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle and thus moved backward until it flipped into the vacant lot and rested thereat.

Three passengers: “Charlene”, 18, student; “Shane”, 12, student; and “Heart”, 11, student all residing at Lower Kitma Road, Bakakeng Central, Baguio City were brought to the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center for medical treatment.
