One of the biggest problems our country faces is the undying trails of traffic on the road. Congested roads during rush hours, school days and holidays gives everyone headache. Upon hearing the word traffic, one thing is sure: we loathe it.
Traffic congestion makes travel longer and boring. Hard-headed drivers and traffic rule-breakers further worsen the situation. One experiences this awful situation in almost all the highways in the country but most have no choice but to take the road. “There’s no forever yet in traffic.”
Traffic jams complicate our economy and a sustainable solution to these had not been studied well. What is clear is that it severely negatively impacts on people and livelihood. It stresses people big time. Deliveries of goods and products cannot be done on time, gas costs too much money and air pollution worsens. Time is precious and time spent sitting in a ride is time lost instead of doing what we planned to do.
Congestion is also a sign that a lot of people take to the road to make travel faster to their jobs. However, the lack of observance of rules by both pedestrians and motorists alike apparently makes the situation worse.
Until now, traffic is still a problem. Fewer cars does not mean less traffic. The solution to the problem must be studied well for better transportation for people and economic growth of the country.
