Just a few hours after the BCS students docked and covered under the watchful eye of school principal Esther Litilit during a simultaneous earthquake drill of all public and high schools, three quakes hit the city, one at 11:34 AM with magnitude of 3; one at 11:37 AM with magnitude 2.4 and another at 1:08 PM with magnitude 2.5.
