RIZAL, Kalinga – A 29-year old farmer died while two others were injured after two motorcycles collided head on along the national highway at sitio Bagbag, Bulbul, here, recently.
Police authorities identified the fatality as Elmer Aloquin Carillo, 29, married, farmer and a resident of Balabag East, Rizal, Kalinga while the injured individuals were named as Joseph Alikoy Crisostomo, 30, married, farmer and Robin Guiawan Valdez, 24, married, farmer, and a resident of Sitio Bagbag, Bulbul, Rizal.
Initial police investigation showed the two motorcycles were travelling on opposite directions when upon reaching the place of incident, the two vehicles suddenly collided with each other.
The occupants of the motorcycles were rushed to the Kalinga Provincial District Hospital for medical treatment but the fatality was declared dead on arrival while the two other individuals were transferred to a hospital in Tuguegarao city for advanced treatment.
