City officials recently congratulated and commended Earhaisha Dela Cruz Soriano of the University of the Cordilleras (UC) for placing tenth during the May 2024 Philippine nurses examination held in various testing centers around the country.
In a resolution, local legislators stated that Soriano’s achievement has brought honor and pride to the city which is yet another testament that Baguio is indeed the educational center of the north.
Earlier, the professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that some 7,749 out of 11,116 examinees passed the Philippine nurse licensure examination which was conducted last May 6-7, 2024 in the different testing centers established around the country.
The results of the aforesaid examination was released four working days after the last day of the examinations which was held in the National Capital Region (NCR), Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Zamboanga and Puerto Princesa.
Soriano, a proud UC alumnus, was one of the 11,116 examinees who hurdled the said examination with flying colors.
Further, Soriano did not just pass the nurse licensure examination but also landed in 10th place with an average of 90 percent.
