FLORA, Apayao – The Saint Paul University Philippines (SPUP) Community Development Center Foundation, Inc. and Humanity and Inclusion, in collaboration with the municipal government and the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) recently distributed cash for shelter assistance from Start Fund-Start Network to the community of Upper Atok and Lower Atok on January 11,2025.
Forty two (42) families from Upper Atok and eighty one (81) families from Lower Atok benefited from the said cash assistance. Each family received an amount of ₱3,500.
This emergency cash shelter aid program intends to give financial assistance to people and families who are facing housing instability due to the devastation brought by typhoons.
According to SPUP Community Development Center Foundation, Inc. The SPUP and Humanity and Inclusion will continue to advocate and address existing difficulties to prevent homelessness in the community. By LGU flora
