The intensified efforts of PROCOR cops against criminality have resulted in the arrest of thirteen (13) individuals wanted by the law, while sixty-five (65) municipalities in the region have recorded zero crime incidents from April 2 to 8, 2023.
Based on the records from the Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division (RIDMD), for the week, Baguio City Police Office (CPO) has recorded the highest number of arrests with six (6) wanted persons arrested followed by the Ifugao Police Provincial Office (PPO) with four (4) arrests, Benguet PPO with two (2) arrests, and Kalinga PPO with one (1) arrest.
Of the arrested personalities, six (6) individuals were listed as Most Wanted Persons (MWP); of which two (2) are listed at the Regional Level, one (1) at the Provincial Level, two (2) at the City level, and one (1) at the Municipal Level.
Meanwhile, as a result of intensified police visibility and campaign against criminality, sixty-five (65) municipalities in the different provinces of the region and two (2) police stations in Baguio City remain peaceful as PROCOR recorded zero crime incidents during the same week.
Zero crime incidents were recorded in the twenty-six (26) municipalities of Abra; six (6) municipalities in Apayao; eight (8) municipalities in Benguet; six (6) municipalities in Kalinga; nine (9) municipalities in Mountain Province; and ten (10) municipalities in Ifugao.
Further, BCPO Naguilian Police Station (PS1) and Aurora Hill Police Station (PS6) also recorded zero crime incidents out of 10 police stations in Baguio City.
