Initial police investigation showed that the ill-fated jeepney driven by Miller Balictan Cuenco, 22, single and a resident of Camp Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet was descending along Lower Magsaysay Avenue en route to the capital town of La Trinidad when the same encountered mechanical trouble, particularly the malfunctioning of its brake system and subsequently bumped the rear portion of a truck that was on its front.
