1BONTOC, Mountain Province – Officers from the 1403rd Community Defense Center (CDC), 14th Regional Community Defense Group (RCDG), Reserve Command, Philippine Army (RCPA) paid Governor Bonifacio C. Lacwasan, Jr. a courtesy call at the Governor’s Mansion on June 9, 2025.
The visitors were led by Major Blas G. Alsiyao, the Director of the 1403rd CDC, 14th RCDG, RCPA. He was accompanied by Sargent Marvin A. Ayop, the Non-Commissioned Officer of the ROTC Division and Donalyn K. Balio, the Commanding Officer of Alpha Company based in Bontoc.
The visit aimed to coordinate with the Provincial Government regarding the upcoming Reader Reserve Unit Commanders Forum, which will be held at the Lemon Café and Restaurant on June 21, 2025
The said forum seeks to enhance leadership capabilities among reserve unit commanders, strengthen collaboration across reserve units, and promote active community participation and resilience-building in local defense initiatives.
In response, Governor Lacwasn expressed his full support for the forthcoming activity. He also acknowledged the vital role of the Army Reserve Force in nation-building, particularly at the grassroots level. By MP-PIO
