BONTOC, Mountain Province – Fifteen beneficiaries received financial assistance from the municipal government through the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) on September 17, 2024, at the Municipal Capitol Lobby.
The assistance was made possible after Mayor Jerome “Chagsen” Tudlong, Jr., successfully secured ₱1 million-funding from the Office of the President, intended for financial and medical support to indigent individuals and those in crisis situations.
Of the total beneficiaries, 11 received ₱10,000 each as medical assistance, while one was granted ₱5,000 for medicine expenses. Three individuals received ₱60,000, ₱25,000, and ₱30,000 to cover hospital bills.
During the distribution, Tudlong conveyed his well-wishes for the recovery of the recipients and assured them of the local government’s ongoing efforts to provide support for those facing financial and medical difficulties.
He further emphasized his administration’s commitment to serving the needs of its most vulnerable residents. By Christy Mae C. Pangesfan
