16 Wanted Persons Nabbed Over the Weekend

CAMP BADO DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet– Sixteen wanted persons were successively arrested by combined police operatives and intelligence agents during separate anti-criminality operations regionwide over the weekend.

Chief Superintendent Ullysses Abellera, acting regional director of the Police Regional Office (PRO) in the Cordillera, said five of those arrested were included in the list of the agency under its Oplan Lambat Sibat while the eleven individuals were wanted for various crimes they committed.

Ferdinand B. Langueta, 35, resident of Canayon, Abulug, Cagayan as the no.3 Provincial Level Sibat Target was arrested at barangay Capannikian, Pudtol, Apayao on March 5, 2016 at about 12:10 PM by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest issued by Judge Quirino M. Andaya former RTC Judge of Branch 26, 2nd Judicial Region at Luna, Apayao for Homicide with recommended bail bond of P40,000.00.

Alejo Quinto Casiguran Jr., 58, separated, self-employed as the No. 2 Sibat Targets of Police Station 8, Baguio City Police Office (BCPO) was arrested in his residence at Diamond Subdivision, Carnation Rd., San Luis Barangay, Baguio City on March 6, 2016 at about 10:50 AM by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest issued by Hon. Maria Ligaya V. Itliong-Rivera, Presiding Judge of the Regional Trial Court, First Judicial Region, Branch 5, Baguio City for Qualified Theft with a fixed bail of P30,000.00.

Two minors listed as No. 6 and No. 7 TMWP for municipal and provincial level were arrested in La Trinidad, Benguet in the afternoon of March 4, 2016 for theft with a bail bond of P16, 000.00 and P20, 000.00.

Arnel Maskay Bagangan, 31, married, as the No.1 Lambat-Sibat Target of Bontoc MPS was arrested in his residence in Alab Proper, Bontoc, Mountain Province on March 4, 2016 at about 9:30 AM for the crime of Theft with a bail bond of P12,000.00.

Other wanted persons arrested:

Arminda Agustin Astudillo alyas Minda Agustin, 26, married, jobless, a resident of Purok 5, Kias, Baguio City was arrested in Barangay Marcos, Rosario, La Union on March 6. 2016 at about 12:00 noon by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest issued by Judge Maria Ligaya V Itliong- Rivera of RTC Branch 5 Baguio City for Theft with a recommended bail of P50,000.00.

Marissa Lamsis Guinyawan, 49, married, unemployed, and a resident of Km 4 Pico, La Trinidad, Benguet was arrested in Abanao Street, Baguio City on March 6, 2016 at about 1:00 PM for Estafa with a recommended bail of P80,000.00.

Mario Bacayna Binalay, 31, single, farmer, and a resident of sitio Babba, Poblacion, Paracelis, Mtn. Province was arrested in Sitio Labay, Bantay, Paracelis on March 5, 2016 at about 7:45AM for Grave Threats with no specified bail bond.

Randy Tucol Dumayag, 33, single, farmer, and residing at Sitio Balabal, Bacarri, Paracelis  and Anita Palangdao Mala, 33, married, farmer and resident of Sitio Masablang, Bantay, Paracelis was both arrested in Sitio, Balabal, Bacarri, Paracelis on March 5, 2016 at about 9:20 PM for adultery with a recommended bail of P 15,000.00 each.

Randy Cayabo Capua, 32, farmer,  was arrested in his residence at Palitud, Paracelis in March 5, 2016 at about 11:15 PM for malicious mischief.

Jay-R Calngan Guindalos was arrested in Barangay Dagdag, Sagada Mt. Province on March 4, 2016 at about 12:15 PM for a crime of theft.

A 17 year-old, male, single, laborer, was arrested at Riverside, Itogon, Benguet on March 4, 2016 at about 8:30 AM for Rape with no bail recommended.

Narding Agsano Malicnas, 32, single, driver, native of Km. 35 Topdac, Atok, Benguet was arrested in Sayangan, Paoay, Atok, Benguet on March 4, 2016 at about 9:00 AM

for Violation of Sec. 77 of PD 705 ( Forestry Law) with a bail bond of P40, 000.00.

Vicente Caoili Atos, 79, married and a retired sales representative supervisor  was arrested in his residence at Purok 8, Dontogan, Baguio City for Falsification with a bail bond of P 12,000.00.

Raymund Bano Baday, 30, single, resident of Mamaga, Balili, La Trinidad, Benguet was arrested in Magsaysay Avenue, Baguio City on March 5, 2016 at about 1:45 AM for Theft with a bail bond of P30, 000.00.

Abellera said that these accomplishments are clear results of the all-out determination of the PNP Cordillera to account all wanted persons in the region thru the implementation of PNP IMPLAN Tugis in relation to LOI Manhunt Charlie and Oplan Lambat- Sibat in Cordillera.
