As the result of the continuous anti-illegal drugs operations of PROCOR, three separate marijuana plantation sites were discovered and eradicated in Kibungan, Benguet on March 21, 2022.
Citing the reports submitted to PROCOR Regional Director, PBGEN RONALD OLIVER LEE, the three (3) marijuana plantation sites were discovered in Kibungan, Benguet. Two in Barangay Poblacion and another one in Barangay Tacadang.
In Brgy. Poblacion, joint operatives of Kibungan MPS and PDEA-CAR were able to discover a total of 650 pieces of fully grown marijuana plants (FGMJP) with a standard drug price (SDP) of Php 130,000.00.
Meanwhile, in Brgy. Tacadang, operatives of Benguet First PMFC were able to discover a marijuana plantation site with 300 pieces of FGMJP with an SDP of Php 60,000.00.
All marijuana plants were uprooted and destroyed on-site. No cultivator was apprehended during the said operations, while an investigation is ongoing to identify the possible cultivators.
