BAGUIO CITY – Two suspected drug personalities in the city were arrested by combined police operatives and anti-narcotics agents after having found in their possession alleged illegal drugs and assorted drug paraphernalia during a buy bust operation along Km. 3, Marcos highway, Bakakeng Central, here, Monday.
Senior Superintendent George D. Daskeo, City Director of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), identified the arrested drug personlaities as Jean Espino Ander, 36, married, jobless, resident of Km. 3, Marcos Highway, Bakakeng Central, Baguio City and Leo Ateneo, 28 years old, married, laborer, native of Lias, Barlig, Mountain Province, and a resident of Purok 8, Bakakeng Norte, Baguio City.
Confiscated from Ander were two (2) pieces heat-sealed plastic sachets containing suspected shabu and one piece 500 pesos bill buy-bust money; one piece heat-sealed plastic sachet containing suspected dried Marijuana leaves and one unit Samsung cellphone were also confiscated from Ateneo.
The arrested individuals and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the BCPO headquarters for documentation awaiting the filing of appropriate charges against them before the city prosecutor’s office.
