BAGUIO CITY – Two alleged drug suspects who were included in the watch list of drug personalities of the local police force were hurt in separate shooting incidents in the city Monday night.
Senior Superintendent George D. Daskeo, City Director of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO, narrated that shortly before midnight, a 36-year old man was shot by a lone gunman in front of a building along Bonifacio Street that caused him to be unconscious and now confined at the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC).
He identified the victim as Patrick Ngaep Aclayan, 36, married and a resident of Poliwes, Baguio City.
Responding police operatives and elements of the Scene of the Crime Operation (SOCO) team recovered from the crime scene a spent shell and a deformed slug of a still undetermined type of firearm used by the suspect in the perpetration of the crime.
At around 6:50 pm, a 37-year old driver was hurt after he was shot by a lone gunman while inside his parked vehicle at Purok 1, Holyghost Extension, Baguio city.
Dakeo identified the victim as Hubert Casuga Coyoy, 37, married, driver and a resident of Purok 1, Holyghost Extension, Baguio City.
Initial police investigation showed that the lone gunman shot the victim twice on the different parts of his body that caused him to be sprawled bloodied on the ground near his vehicle.
He was rushed to the Saint Luis University Sacred Heart Hospital where he is in confined and undergoing observation at the intensive care unit because of the gunshot wounds he sustained.
Both individuals are said to be included in the drug watch list of the local police force and were previously subjected to the Oplan Tokhang of the PNP.
