LAGAYAN, Abra December 14 – Two farmers were arrested by combined police operatives and intelligence agents based on a warrant for three counts of attempted homicide at Pulot, here, Wednesday.
Police authorities identified the arrested individuals as Francis Talape Medrano, 28, married, farmer, and Joel Millare Balucas, 45, single, farmer both residents of Sitio Kiwas, barangay Pulot, Lagayan, Abra
The two individuals were arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Rafael Alzate of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 1 in Bangued for three counts of attempted homicide with a total recommended bail of P540,000 each for their temporary liberty.
The arrested individuals was brought to the Lagayan Municipal Police Station for documentation prior to their turnover to the issuing court for the proper disposal of the cases filed against them.
