BAGUIO CITY May 29 – Two persons were injured after they were allegedly mauled and stabbed by two suspects who reportedly challenged them for still no apparent reasons along Upper Gen. Luna road, here, Saturday dawn.
Senior Superintendent Ramil L. Saculles, City Director of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), identified the victims as Belmar Spencer Cosalan, 26, and Daniel Bacbac Cosalan, 23while t he named the suspects as Jun Ross Tolores Marzan, 24, and a 16 year old male, both waiters in a restaurant in the place of incident.
Initial police investigation showed the victims were walking along Upper Gen. Luna Road when they met the suspects who were armed with a piece of wood and a knife who suddenly challenged them to a fistfight that resulted to a commotion that caused injuries to the different parts of their bodies.
The victims were rushed to the St. Louis University Sacred Heart Hospital for medical treatment while the suspects were arrested by responding police operatives and appropriate charges are being readied against them for filing before the city prosecutor’s office.
