BAGUIO CITY – Two persons were injured after they were repeatedly stabbed by a group of intoxicated individuals during a free for all at the City Camp Alley, City Camp, here, Thursday.
Senior Superintendent George D. Daskeo, City Director of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), identified the stabbing victims as Jeric Sabuya Manipon, 25, single, and a resident of Magsaysay, Loakan Proper, Baguio City and France Jason de Venecia, 26, and a resident of Irisan, Baguio City.
Initial police investigation showed the victims were walking along the said alley when they met a group of intoxicated male persons that suddenly resulted to a free for all.
At this juncture, another group of eight male persons, who were belived to be the companions of the earlier group, suddenly arrived and aided them in mauling and stabbing the victims.
Manipon was able to seek help from passers by and was rushed to the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC) where he is now on stable condition while de Venecia ran towards a nearby bar where he collapsed and was rushed to the BGHMC and is now in critical condition.
The suspects are now the subject of a manhunt operation by responding police operatives for them to answer for the crime they committed.
