SAN FERNANDO CITY, La Union – Two people were hurt after a Cessna training aircraft crashed in barangay Cannaoay, here a few minutes after it took off from the Poro Point international airport.
Police authorities claimed that the pilot instructor and the student pilot who were hurt in the said plane crash were rushed to a local hospital for the treatment of their minor injuries which they sustained from the said incident.



The Cessna plane reportedly took off from the airport at around 9:30 am of May 21, 2024 but after a few minutes, the pilot opted to have an emergency landing in barangay Cannaoay that caused them to suffer minor injuries and damages to the said aircraft.
The ill-fated plane is reportedly owned by the Leading Edge International Aviation training Center.
The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) is currently conducting an investigation on the said unfortunate incident to ascertain the reason why the pilot instructor opted to go on emergency landing in the said area. By Dexter A. See
