BONTOC, Mountain Province – The Provincial Government, under the leadership of Gov. Bonifacio C. Lacwasan, Jr. continues to help individuals who are in crisis situations.
Executive Assistant Clement T. Sokoken personally handed the cash assistance amounting to Php10,000 each to Agrifina A. Balusdan of Banao, Bauko, and Nora D. Tanglib who was represented by her mother, Ana D. Tanglib of Kayan East, Tadian today, January 17, 2023.
Tanglib was a victim of a reported fire incident that happened at around 3:30 o’clock in the afternoon of August 16, 2022, which damaged her one-story residential house in Guedey, Kayan East. Balusdan was one of the victims of the magnitude-7.0 earthquake that transpired on July 27, 2022 which resulted in the total wreckage of his two-story house.
“Daytoy nga cash ket nagapu ti Provincial Government under the program of Governor Bonifacio C. Lacwasan, Jr. to support each and every one in time of crisis situation. Sapay kuma ta maragsakan kayo ditoy nga tulong nga inyeg me ta isupay kuma si usaren yo to start a new.” Sokoken, who relayed the message of Governor Lacwasan.
During the turnover ceremony, the Kayan, Tadian Brgy. Captain Leon F. Pitan expressed his sincere gratitude to the provincial government for the help.
“On behalf of the Kayan community, Layden mi ay iyebkas nan dakel ay pasasalamat mi ken Governor Lacwasan through his program under the PSWDO ta iti kastoy nga rigat ket kanayun kayo nga ada nga tumulong ken mang inspire kanayami. Sapay kuma ta adu pay ti matulungan yo nga akas kanyami karo ti kastoy nga rigat nga umay tunggal barangay. Dakedakel ay yaman kendakayo ken ni Apo Dios ti kanayun nga Mang i-bless kanyayo amin,” he said.
