Some twenty young men and women recently joined this year’s Search for the Mr. and Ms. Hotel and Restaurant Association of Baguio (HRAB) 2024.
The eleven aspirants for the Ms. HRAB 2024 are Princess Janynne E. Abreu, Ruzcel Ann G. Madrid, Maria Katrina C. Calica, Megamie Novida, Jehn Ivy C. Cruz, Peachy M. Dicipulo, Hazel de Leon, Kristine Billy Tabaday, Patricia Rosse T. Aguilar, Zeira Tamayo and Lyka Mae Roux.
On the other hand the nine candidates for Mr. HRAB 2024 are John Nickson D. Matchoc, Zion Reyes, Allan James M. Gannaban, Keorrow Ken Klister Aban Sabio, John Paul Baylon, Adrian Yap, Millard M. Saguil, Sherwin Marzan and Gariel Angelo Diata.
The Talent Portion and Fashion Show of the Search for Mr. and Ms. HRAB will be held on September 22 at the SM City Baguio while the Coronation Night will be held on October 18 at the BCC Cordillera Convention Hall.
The members of the Board of Judges for this year’s search are big names in the beauty pageant industry that include Miss Universe 2013 3rd runner up Ariella Arida, Ms. Earth – Water 2020 Roxie Smith, Ms. World Philippines 2023 Krishna Gravides, Ms. Universe Philippines 2014 MJ Lastimosa, Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo, Ms. Universe 2011 3rd runner up and National Director for the Ms. Universe Philippines Organization Shamcey Supsup-Lee, Ms. Universe Philippines 2021 Bea Gomez, Filipino actor Jeric Gonzales, Ms. Universe Philippines 2019 Gazini Ganados, Arlene Magalong, Atty. Richard Carino and Engr. Bonifacio dela Pena.
The winners of this year’s Search for Mr. and Ms. HRAB will be bringing home PhP100,000 each as cash prize aside from other privileges from sponsors and the right to represent the hospitality industry in upcoming national competitions.
The Search for Mr. and Ms. HRAB is one of the highlights of the 17th edition of the prestigious Hotel and Restaurant Tourism Weekend that will run from September 29 to October 6.
The candidates of this year’s search are students taking up courses that are related to the hospitality industry and professionals who are currently practicing their respective professions in various fields but are included to join beauty pageants such as the Mr. and Ms. HRAB as part of their exposure in preparation for similar competitions in the future.
