20 wanted persons in Cordillera arrested in 4 days

CAMP BADO DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet – Twenty wanted persons were successively arrested by combined police operatives in separate operations reginwide over the past four days.

In Mt. Province, the No.1 TMWP of the Province for for the third quarter of this year identified as Richard Calicto Mocco was arrested by the joint operatives of the Regional Intelligence Unit-14(RIU 14), Regional Intelligence Division (RID) of PRO-Cordillera and Mt.Province PPO at about 11:40AM of October 1, 2015 by virtue of a warrant issued by Judge Joseph Patanaan of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 36, Bontoc for a crime of Rape.

In Benguet, tracker teams of the Bokod and Tuba Municipal Police Stations (MPS) arrested their No.3 TMWP in their Municipalities. Arrested were identified as: Jeffrey Battalier Pasi, 44, married in his residence at Nangalisan, Tuba, Benguet. at around 8:35PM of September 29, 2015  by the Tuba MPS personnel by virtue of warrant issued by Judge Francis Buliyat Sr.,of Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 9 of La Trinidad, Benguet for violation of RA 9262 or the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act with recommended bail bond of Php120,000.00; and  Santiago Tiway Bullion, 34, arrested in his residence at Toyong, Pico, La Trinidad, Benguet, at about 4:26 PM of September 30, 2015 by Bokod MPS personnel by virtue of a warrant issued by Judge Danilo Camacho of RTC Branch 9, La Trinidad, Benguet for violation of PD 705 or Forestry Law with a recommended bail bond of P25, 000.00.

On the other hand, tracker team of La Trinidad MPS served the warrant of arrest against Genevive Changpas Gantas inside La Trinidad District Jail in Benguet that was issued by Judge Jennifer Humiding, of RTC Branch 63, La Trinidad, Benguet for Estafa at about 1:40 PM of September 30, 2015. Arrested person identified as: Delson Delfin Ambros, 25, single, and Alvin Badcong Delfin, 22, single, both residents of Loo, Buguias, Benguet arrested in Proper Abatan, Buguias, Benguet, by Tracker team of Buguais MPS by virtue of a warrant  issued by Judge Danilo P. Camacho of RTC Branch 62, La Trinidad, Benguet for Violation of RA 6539 as amended by Section 20 of R.A. 7959 at about 12:30 PM of September 29, 2015; and Marvelon Tangec Ludaes aka “Belon”, 28, single, farmer and driver, resident of Lilit, Poblacion, Buguias, Benguet arrested in a buy bust operation conducted in Loo, Buguias, Benguet at around 8:00 pm on September 27, 2015.Ludaes is now facing charges for violation of the Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Law.

In Baguio, Joint tracker teams of Station 1 and City Intelligence Unit of Baguio City Police Office (BCPO) served the warrant of arrest of Alicia Punzalan Torralba, 48, married,a resident of Middle Quezon Hill, Baguio City and Creselyn Punzalan Torralba, 24, and a resident of Dahlia St., San Luis Village, Baguio City. Alicia is No. 9 TMWP for the 1st and 2nd Quarters last year and 3rd and 4th Quarter of CY 2013 of Station 5, BCPO at about 6:40 PM of September 30, 2015 and have a 4 standing warrants issued by different Presiding Judges, as follows: Estafa with a recommended bail bond of P10, 000.00 issued by Judge Maria Clarita Casuga-Tabin, of MCTC, Br 4, Baguio City; 2 counts of Estafa with a recommended bail bond of P12, 000.00 each and theft with a recommended bail bond of P12, 000.00 all issued by Judge Leody M. Opolinto, of MTCC, Br 3, Baguio City while Creselyn has also a standing warrant issued by Judge Leody Opolinto, of MCTC Br 3, Baguio City for Estafa with a recommended bail bond of P12,000.00

Moreover, joint personnel of City Investigation Detection Management Unit (CIDMU) and Station 7, BCPO arrested Roger Tamayo Wagayan, 27, at Upper Brookside, Baguio City by virtue of a warrant issued by Judge Jennifer Humiding, of RTC Br 63, La Trinidad, Benguet for Frustrated Homicide with a recommended bail bond of P100, 000.00 at about 12:50PM of September 30, 2015. Alvin Mark Oliva Padillo, 27, single, laborer, arrested in his residence in San Luis Village, Baguio City by the joint personnel of Station 1, BCPO and CIU at about 9:45AM of September 28, 2015 by virtue of a warrant issued by Judge Ivan Kim B. Morales, of RTC, First Judicial Region,Branch 59, Baguio City for violation of RA 9262 with a recommended bail bond of P40, 000.00.Padillo is listed as No. 7 TMWP of Station 1 for the 3rd Quarter CY 2015. Bernie Dengay Bagangan, of legal age, arrested in his residence at Sitio Pine Breeze, Shamolog, Pico, La Trinidad, Benguet by the joint operatives of Mobile Police Unit, BCPO and Provincial Intelligence Branch, Benguet PPO At around 6:15 PM of September 27, 2015 by virtue of a Warrant issued by Judge Ramon D. Pamular of RTC, Branch 63, Tarlac City for Robbery. Bagangan is a member of Organized Gang operating nationwide.

In Abra, joint operatives from Abra Shield, Abra PPO, SAF,RIU 14, arrested Benzon Beljarin Bio  at Brgy Calot, Bangued, Abra by virtue of a warrant issued by Judge Corpuz Alzate of RTC Branch 2, Bangued,Abra for a crime of Frustrated Murder. Jonathan Guayen Benwagen, 36 years old, married, Brgy. Captain of Naglibacan, Tineg, Abra for Violation of RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammuniton Regulation Act) by personnel of 1st Maneuver Company, RPSB, at about 9:20 PM of September 27, 2015 in Brgy. Gaddani. Tayum, Abra while conducting of checkpoint. Benwagen was on board a Red Honda XRM motorcycle without plate number when flagged down by the RPSB personnel and was found in possession of 1 caliber.40 GLOCK 22 Pistol bearing serial number AACUO37 with 1 short magazine loaded with 16 live ammo. He failed to show pertinent documents to possess the firearm prompting the police officers to arrest him and confiscate his firearm. Randy Ayson Palino, 28, married, Security Guard, was arrested in his residence at Poblacion Villaviciosa, Abra by the personnel of Villaviciosa MPS at about 9:30 AM of September 28, 2015 by virtue of a warrant issued by Judge Delilah Gonzales-Muñoz, of MTC of La Trinidad, Benguet for the crime of “Other Forms of Trespass” with a recommended bail bond of P2, 000.00 .

In Ifugao, personnel of Hingyon MPS arrested Ryan Ballogan Yohoy, 33, in Bitu, Hingyon, Ifugao at about 4:30 PM of September 30, 2015. Yohoy has a standing warrant of arrest issued by Judge Romeo Habbiling, RTC Br 14, Lagawe, Ifugao for Attempted Parricide with a recommended bail bond of P120, 000.00. Dexter Galiom Nipahoy @ “Deck”, 26, married, construction worker was arrested in his residence at Poblacion East, Lagawe, Ifugao at about 5:00 PM of September 28, 2015 by tracker team of Ifugao PPO by virtue of a warrant issued by Judge Ester Piscoso-Flor, of Regional Trial Court, Branch 34, Banaue, Ifugao for violation of RA 9262 with recommended bail of P24, 000.00. Nipahoy is listed as number 2 TMWP in the Municipality of Hungduan for the 3rd Quarter CY 2015. Ben Baguiwa Bandao was arrested at his residence in Sitio Ala, Baguinge, Kiangan, Ifugao by personnel of Kiangan MPS at around 6:00 AM of September 27, 2015 by virtue of a Warrant issued from RTC, Branch 14, Lagawe, Ifugao, for crime of rape in relation to RA 7610.

In Apayao, personnel of Conner MPS arrested Ricardo Tumbaga Sr, 64, married, farmer, in his residence at Brgy. Guinamgaman, Conner, Apayao at about 10:00PM of September 28, 2015 by virtue of a warrant issued by Judge Francisco S. Donato, of RTC, Branch 26, 2ndJudicial Region, Luna, Apayao for the crime of Rape.

In Kalinga, personnel of Tabuk City Police Station arrested June Sannadan Serquinia, 36, at the Bayle establishment in Bulanao, Tabuk City, Kalinga at about 3:15 PM of September 30, 2015 by virtue of a warrant issued by Judge Marcelino Wacas, of RTC Br 25, Bulanao Tabuk City, Kalinga for violation of RA 9262 with a recommended bail bond of P24, 000.00.

All arrested wanted persons were detained in their respective MPS and PPO prior to their turn over to the courts concerned.
