LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – Some two hundred one rookie policemen successfully completed their basic recruit training course during simple graduation rites held Thursday at the New Town hotel in Baguio City.
The graduating class was composed of 142 males and 59 females were able to complete the aforesaid training course at the Police Regional training Center (PRTC – Cordillera) and are ready to undergo the 6-month field training program.
Representatives from the Office of Benguet Rep. Eric Yap and the Police Regional Office headquarters also graced the aforesaid occasion to join the families and friends of the graduates in celebrating the completion of their basic recruit course.
One of the highlights of the graduation rites was the conferment of certificates of merit to three police trainees for their outstanding performance during the conduct of the course.
The trainees who were honored during the event were Pat Audi M Sinong 91.69%; Pat Fujimory B. Lawa 91.38% and Pat Aaron L. Blas 90.76%
Further, NPTI Director Leadership Awards were given to Pat Alvin B. Utang, who served as the Battalion President, while Pat Silvestre A. Bangloy received the same award for serving as Battalion Commander.
The ceremony marked a moment of celebration and reflection, showcasing the sacrifices and hard work of each trainee on their six-month journey through the course. By Dexter A. See
