Baguio City, Philippines – The 2025 Productivity Olympics Regional Awarding Ceremony was held on June 17, 2025, at the Emerald Grains Hotel, Marcos Highway, Baguio City, to celebrate the exceptional achievements of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR).
The event recognized MSMEs that have demonstrated excellence in business operations, innovation, and productivity improvement—proving themselves as the lifeblood of the regional economy.
The ceremony was graced by esteemed members of the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board – CAR Board Members, including:
- Dir. Imelda Romanillos, Chairperson (DOLE-CAR Regional Director)
- Atty. Raymond Panhon, Vice-Chairperson (DTI-CAR Regional Director)
- Dir. Apollo Edwin Pagano, Vice-Chairperson DEPDEV-CAR OIC- Regional Director)

Joining them were DOLE Assistant Regional Director Atty. Olivia Obrero-Samson, COA Auditors, and Productivity Expert Ms. Jane Suyatan (Manager, BBCCC). The Board Secretariat, led by Atty. Myrene A. Bosleng, ensured the smooth flow of the program.
Hosted by Mr. Dennis Lee (Employees Compensation Commission), the ceremony began with an opening prayer, the singing of the national anthem, and an acknowledgment of participants.
Dir. Imelda Romanillos delivered the opening remarks, emphasizing the vital role of MSMEs in driving economic growth. Mr. Juan Johnny Dela Cruz followed with a welcome message, highlighting the importance of productivity and innovation in business sustainability.
A short audio-visual presentation showcased the inspiring journeys of the awardees, featuring their best practices in operations, innovation, and productivity improvements.
