ITOGON, Benguet – Three persons were arrested by combined police operatives and intelligence agents based on separate warrants for grave coercion and high grading in their residence at Virac here Tuesday.
Senior Superintendent Florante Camuyot, officer-in-charge of the Benguet Provincial Police Office, identified the arrested individuals as Rodolfo Pingi Antolino, 60, married, laborer, native resident of Skyview, Virac, Itogon, Benguet; Gilliardo Shagman Pingi, 51, married, driver, native resident of Jahpa, Virac, Itogon, Benguet; and Tyson Castillo Apilado, 26, single, miner, native resident of Riverside, Virac, Itogon, Benguet.
The said individuals were arrested based on separate warrants issued by Judge Jose Encarnacion of the Municipal Trial Court (MTC) in Itogon for separate charges of grave coercion and high grading with a total recommended bail of P24,000 each for their temporary liberty.
They were subsequently brought to the Itogon Municipal Police Station for documentation prior to their turnover to the issuing court for the proper disposition of the cases filed against them.
