Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet- PROCOR anti-illegal drugs operatives collared three drug personalities and seized over P23K of suspected shabu in separate buy-bust operations conducted in Abra and Baguio, yesterday, July 12, 2021.
Citing reports submitted to the Regional Director, PBGEN RONALD OLIVER LEE, identified the three suspects as May Levyca Cadiz Claro a.k.a Levy, 43, listed as Regional Top Ten Illegal Drug personality and High Value Individual (HVI); Erwin Arga Reyes, 36, listed as HVI; and Mona Liza Cabusora Ofecio,37, listed as Street Level Individual (SLI).
In Abra, ‘Levy’ was arrested by joint operatives of PIU of Abra PPO; RID; RMFB15; and RIU 14 after selling one (1) small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu weighing one (1) gram with street value of Php 7,000 to an operative who acted as poseur-buyer.
During the course of her arrest operatives also seized one (1) small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu weighing one (1) gram and estimated street value of Php 6,800; boodle money and cellphone.
Meanwhile, in Baguio City, suspect Reyes was arrested by joint operatives of Baguio CPO; RIU 14, RID-PROCOR, and RPDEU after selling two (2) pieces of small transparent plastic sachet of suspected shabu weighing one (1) gram with market value of Php 7,500 to an undercover operative.
Also, in another buy-bust operation conducted in Baguio City, joint operatives of Baguio CPO; RECU COR and PDEA CAR arrested Ofecio after she sold one (1) heat sealed plastic sachet containing suspected shabu weighting MOL 0.5 gram with SDP of Php 2000.00 to an undercover operative.
Each of the seized peices of evidence were documented and inventoried on-site witnessed by the respective DOJ representatives, media representatives and elected Barangay officials.
All suspects were brought to the respective operating units while a case for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Drug Act of 2002) is being prepared for filling against them. (PROCOR-PIO)
