BAGUIO CITY – Three minors were successively arrested by combined police operatives and anti-narcotics agents after having found in their possession suspected dried marijuana leaves when they were apprehended for violation of the curfew for minors at Pruok 2, Gibraltar, here, Thursday dawn.
Senior Superintendent George D. Daskeo, City Director of the BCPO, refused to divulge the identities of the arrested minors but described them to be aged 13, 15 and 17, all high school students and residents of Gibraltar, Baguio City.
Confiscated from their possession were a still undetermined volume of dried marijuana leaves and assorted drug paraphernalia.
The arrested minors were brought to the BCPO Station No. 3 headquarters prior to their turnover to the Social Development Center of the City Social Welfare and Development Center in Balenben, Irisan for the conduct of proper counselling considering that they have previous records of being involved in theft cases in the different parts of the city.
