CAMP BADO DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet – Operatives from Kalinga Police Provincial Office (Kalinga PPO) arrested three personalities who are in possession of suspected shabu, firearm and ammunitions during their implementation of four search warrants in Tabuk City, Kalinga in the early morning of December 21, 2016.
Superintendent Brent M. Majaco, Officer-In-Charge of Kalinga PPO said that the 4 search warrants were issued by Judge Victor A Dalanao of Municipal Circuit Trial Court, Tabuk City, Kalinga for Violation of RA 9165 or other known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. The search warrants resulted to the arrest of the following: Froilan Agyao Baguiwan, 32, married, resident of Nambaran, Tabuk City, Kalinga who is in possession of two plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu, three live ammunitions for Caliber 22, and four empty shells of Caliber 22; John Bon-As Bocad who is in possession of seven sachets of suspected shabu, two pieces of live ammos for cal. 30, and one cal. 45 pistol with Serial Number 123874 with inserted mag containing 6 live ammos; Jimmy Ballong Batang-Ay,36, single, resident of Junction Nambaran, Tabuk City, Kalinga who is in possession of one heat sealed sachet containing substance suspected to be shabu, one used aluminum foil, cash amounting to Php13,600.00, two cellular phones, and improvised tooter.
The inventory of the seized items was done on site in the presence of the suspects, Barangay Kagawad Rosita B Matalao, Irvin Gano and Media Representative Basilio Baluyan.
