BAGUIO CITY – Three Koran nationals were injured after they were mauled by four still unidentified Filipino male suspects along Leonard Wood Road here Saturday night.
Senior Superintendent George D. Daskeo, officer-in-charge of the Baguio City Police Office, identified the mauling victims as Son Se eum, 26, single; Kim in Soo, 28, single; Kang Suho, 23, single, all Korean Nationals and all are stay-in students at Pines International School located at Chapis Village, Marcos Highway, Baguio City.
Initial police investigation showed the victims reportedly came from a bar along Leonard Wood Road and were en route to the central business district when they met four still unidentified male suspects with one of them accidentally bumping the victims.
Despite the apologies extended by the Korean nationals to the suspects, they were still mauled by the Filipinos before fleeing towards an undisclosed direction.
Responding police operatives immediately rushed the victims to the Baguio General and Medical Center (BGHMC) before they were transferred to the Notre Dame hospital for insurance purposes.
