KALINGA – Three suspected kidnappers were arrested in a hot pursuit operation after they failed to abduct a minor at Balinciagao, Norte, Pasil, Kalinga.
Responding personnel of Pasil Municipal Police Station, Kalinga Police Provincial Office speedily acted on a complaint of an eleven year old victim, grade 6 pupil of Balinciagao Elementary School and a resident of Simangan, Balinciagao Norte, Pasil, of an attempted kidnapping.
Police report identified the kidnappers as John Rey Beatingo Pedrosa,29, resident of Sta. Rosa, Laguna; Michael Paez Perilla, 28, with postal address at Batuhan, Pola, Oriental Mindoro and Ronald Gapuen Melanis, 43, resident of Pangi, Matnog, Sorsogon .

During investigation, victim narrated that suspects were on board a six-wheeler container van truck with plate no AAQ 7628 traversing the Abra-Kalinga road particularly at the vicinity of Balinciagao Norte, Pasil, Kalinga, when they tried to grab and pull the minor inside their truck. However, the victim was able to run and get away from his abductors.
Further investigation shows that the container van truck used by the suspects is owned by Cher-view Manna Corp with business address at N. Valderrama St., Siniloan, Laguna.
The three arrested suspects are now facing charges of attempted kidnapping of a minor.
