LINGAYEN, Pangasinan – Nearly 300 provincial scholars will receive their training certificates for having completed their technical-vocational courses from the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) in a mass graduation ceremony recently held at the Pangasinan Training and Development Center.
Provincial Employment Services Office manager Alex F. Ferrer said the event which starts at 2:00 p.m. is a culminating activity for the 290 trainees who were recipients of the TESDA-Training for Work Scholarship Program (TESDA-TSWP) allocated to the provincial government.
Gov. Amado T. Espino, Jr. who is the guest of honor and speaker will distribute the certificates of completion to the scholar graduates.
The provincial government scholars took up courses on Food and Beverages, Housekeeping, Computer Hardware Services, Consumer Electronics Servicing, Cookery and Front Office Services.
Ferrer said a total of 11 tech-voc schools that implemented the scholarship program include the Acres Professional Institute and Review Center, Inc., Dagupan City; Marianne College of Science & Technology, Bayambang, Pangasinan; Golden West College, Inc., Alaminos City; Manila Montessori College International, Dagupan City; Development Academy for Technical Excellence, Inc., Urdaneta City; Extendicare Training Center, Dagupan City; CMV Technical Institute, Alaminos City; Dagupan Colleges Foundation, Inc., Dagupan City; STI Alaminos Inc., Alaminos City; OBC Learning and Assessment Center, Alaminos City; and Institute Centro Asia Inc., Dagupan City.
