BAGUIO CITY – Four people were arrested by combined police operatives and anti-narcotics agents after having found in their possession suspected illegal drugs and assorted drug paraphernalia during a buy bust operation at Purok 1, Sunnyside Fairview, here, Monday afternoon.
Senior Superintendent George D. Daskeo, City Director of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), identified the drug personality to be arrested as Emmanuel Caballa Ringor Caballa, 45, painter/laborer, and a resident of purok 1, Sunnyside Fairview, Baguio City.
Confiscated from his possession by the operating troops were one heat sealed plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu with undetermined weight; one heat sealed plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu with undetermined weight; one heat sealed plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu with undetermined weight; one heat sealed plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu with undetermined weight; one plastic sachet dried marijuana leaves with undetermined weight; one plastic sachet dried marijuana leaves with undetermined weight; one piece blue Generika container; one piece Five hundred Peso and two pieces five hundred Peso Bill boodle money.
During the conduct of the operation, the operatives were able to chance upon and arrest three persons who were allegedly conducting pot session in the attic of the suspect’s residence.
Daskeo identified the arrested drug users as Ramil Gabito Ong, 47, laborer, and a resident of number 1, Lower Fairview, Baguio City; Jerry Curpos Devera, 46, laborer, and a resident of Outlook Drive Artigas Street, Baguio City and Joan Nabbon Vintuan, single, 26, and a resident of Tam-awan, Baguio City.
Confiscated from their possession by the operating troops were one piece heat sealed plastic sachet with suspected shabu residue; one piece used aluminum foil strip; one piece improvised tooter; one piece surgical scissor and two pieces lighters empty plastic sachets wrapped together.
The arrested individuals and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the BCPO headquarters for documentation pending the filing of the appropriate charges against them before the city prosecutor’s office.
