BAGUIO CITY – Four drug suspects were arrested by combined police operatives and anti-narcotics agents during a drug buy bust operation at Lower Rock Quarry, here, Monday afternoon.
Police authorities identified the arrested drug suspects as Michael V Dumagcao, 41, married, resident of 81 Loakan-Magsaysay; Alberto B England, 28, single, resident of 20 Lourdes Subdivision Extension; John Michael S Garcia, 30, single, resident of Mirador-Dominican; Louie G Clemente, 25, single, resident of 28 Lower Rock Quarry – all of Baguio City.
After sensing that they are transacting with an undercover poseur buyer, the suspects fired at the operating units and immediately maneuvered their vehicle purposely to run away however, one of the vehicles of the operating units which was prepositioned blocked their way and as a result, suspects’ vehicle bearing a conduction sticker B1W572 rammed the police vehicle until it was stuck in the metal railings. The DEU issued vehicle incurred severe damage while other vehicles which were within the vicinity during the operation incurred substantial damages.
Seized from the suspects were two heat-sealed sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be “shabu”; one chamber loaded Cal. 9mm Pietro Beretta with defaced serial number; one magazine for cal. 9mm; eight live ammo for cal. 9mm; three empty shells for cal. 9mm; one fired bullet/slug; one white touch screen Samsung cellular phone; one black touch screen Samsung cellular phone and a Silvery-grey Mitsubishi Montero sports SUV used by the suspects in the transaction. All seized pieces of evidence were submitted to the Baguio City Police Office Crime Laboratory Office for qualitative and quantitative examination.
The arrested suspects and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the BCPO Station No. 5 for documentation and the preparation of the charges that will be filed against them.
