BESAO, Mountain Province – Four were injured when a Wrangler type jeep fell at Sitio Biyocan, Tamboan, Besao, Mountain Province more or less 50 meters on June 13, 2016.
Personnel of Besao Municipal Police Station, BFP, Besao LGU employees from the rural health unit and MDRRMC and several concerned individuals responded to the vehicular traffic accident which happened at about 9:30 AM of said date.
Investigation by Besao Police disclosed that the vehicle driven by Biteng Tanglod Dagiwa, 26, male, married, policeman and a resident of Ankileng, Sagada came from Sagada and was heading towards Tamboan, Besao and while passing along the curve portion of the road at Sitio Biyocan, the steering wheel got locked and stuck which caused the vehicle to fall down the slope at the left side of the road.
The driver including three of the passengers namely Arthur Steve Dagacan, principal of Tamboan National High School and a resident of Sagada, Mountain Province; Catherine Tanglod Dagiwa, 25, newly assigned teacher and a resident of Ankileng, Sagada and Jerry Ebes Equino 34, a resident of Bokod, Benguet were rushed to Besao District Hospital for medical treatment.
The four incurred minor injuries according to the police report.
