BANGUED, Abra – The Cordillera office of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PdeA) recently declared four units of the Abra Provincial Police Office as drug free following the conduct of a declaration ceremony held at the 2nd Abra Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMfC) headquarters at San Jose, manabo, here.
The event was graced by PdeA-CAR regional director Laurefel P. Gabales, and attended by key officials including the Officer in Charge of the Abra PPO, PCol. Jeremias G. Oyawon, the Force Commander of the 2nd Abra PMFC, PLTCol. Dickson K. Banes, the Acting Chief of Police of Dolores MPS, PMaj. Harold B. Alagao, the Acting Chief of Police of Luba MPS, PCapt. Joel S. Camong, the Acting Chief of Police of Tubo MPS, PCapt. Billy Fontanilla, the Chief Provincial Community Affairs and Development Unit of Abra PPO, PLTCol. Daniel F. Pel-ey, Company Advisory Group Member, Pastor Elmo Salingbay, Punong Barangay Dennis Biares, and members of the Barangay Kagawad of San Jose.
During the ceremony, the PDEA-CAR Regional Director officially proclaimed the drug-free status of the 2nd Abra Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC) and Dolores, Luba, and Tubo Municipal Police Stations (MPS). A drug-free workplace marker was unveiled as tangible proof of their achievement.
In his message, Gabales congratulated the 2nd Abra PMFC and the other three municipal police stations for the success of their Drug-Free Workplace Program, acknowledging their hard work and dedication in achieving this accomplishment. “You have demonstrated an organization that upholds integrity and makes a significant positive impact on the entire province of Abra,” he added.
