BAGUIO CITY – City officials recently congratulated and commended Craig William Abalos Ferrer of the Catholic-run Saint Louis University (SLU) for placing fourth in the 2024 Civil Engineers Licensure Examination.
In a resolution, local legislators stated that Ferrer’s recent achievement has brought honor and pride to the city which is yet another testament that the city is indeed the Educational Center of the North.
Earlier, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that some 6,835 out of 18,436 examinees passed the Civil Engineers Licensure Examination given by the Board of Civil Engineering in various testing centers around the country.
The results of the examination was released after three working days from the last day of examination that was held in the National Capital Region (NCR), Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legapi, Lucena and Rosales.
Ferrer, a SLU alumnus, was one of the 6,835 successful examinees who hurdled the said examination and did not just pass the said licensure examination but also topped the same by placing fourth with an average of 92.20 percent.
Copies of the approved resolution will be transmitted to Ferrer and the ALU administration for information, guidance, ready reference and further needed action. By Dexter A. See
