CAMP BADO, DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet – In a separate drug operation conducted by the members of the Police Regional Office Cordillera, five (5) suspected drug pushers were arrested while 20 sachets of suspected shabu were seized in a separate buy-bust operation conducted in the City of Baguio and province of Benguet
Joint personnel of the City Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU), Criminal Intelligence Unit and Police Station 3, BCPO arrested a female identified as Rose Marie Delos Reyes Masucol, 41, a resident of Compostela Sibulida, San Vicente, Davao Del Norte in the afternoon of August 7, 2018. She was arrested along Leonard Wood Road, Brgy. St. Joseph, Baguio City. Seized from her possession were 14 sachets of white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu , 1 of which was sold the the poseur-buyer worth Php 5,000.00.
Likewise, joint personnel of Drug Enforcement Unit of La Trinidad Municipal Police Station and Benguet PPO, Benguet Provincial Intelligence Branch, Regional Intelligence Division, Regional Intelligence Unit 14, and Tublay Municipal Police Station, in coordination with PDEA-CAR arrested Begee Langaoan Lugangis, 32, a resident of Bahong ,La Trinidad, Benguet on the same day. He was nabbed at Betag, La Trinidad, Benguet and seized from his possession were one sachet containing suspected shabu worth Php 1,000.00 sold to the poseur-buyer and one touch screen cellphone.
On the following day, August 8, 2018, 3 more were arrested in a buy-bust operation at Purok 7, Lamog Street, Victoria Village, Baguio City in the evening.
Arrested were Renato Lee Lazaro, 52, taxi driver, presently renting at Purok 7, Lamog Street, Victoria Village, Baguio City; Rolando Cornejo Manaois, 49, mechanic and a resident of Tacay Road, Quezon Hill, Baguio City; and Jenelyn Delanda Alarba, 32, OFW and a resident of Ajuy, Ilo-ilo City.
Five sachets of suspected shabu and assorted drug paraphernalia were seized during the operation conducted by the operating troops from the Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU), Criminal Intelligence Unit (CIU), and PS1, Baguio City Police Office.
The above achievements is attributed to the cooperation of the public, who are giving timely information to the police which lead to the apprehension of the above drug personalities.
