LUNA, Apayao – Some 55 recently hired personnel of the provincial government completed the required on-boarding program of the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) on August 9, at the ECBJr. Multipurpose Evacuation Center (Aliwa Gym).
This on-boarding program is to help new hires familiarize themselves with basic knowledge and skills to integrate into the provincial government operations and its culture.
This is also the first time that the HRMO conducted a paperless on-boarding program with all materials, presentations, and documentations shared digitally through Google Workspace applications.
According to the Human Resource Management Officer Loyd Rio Karl Sion, “This is the first step for the new employees to know about the institution they are working for, their roles and responsibilities, and to have an idea on the possible contributions that they can bring to the table.”
“We are also implementing the first paperless event of the HRMO. Hopefully we will be able fully implement this in the entire provincial government,” he said, adding that the HRMO will spearhead the shift to paperless transactions and will be offering a Google Workspace training to administrative officers and information technology officers from various departments of the provincial government on August 19-21.
