LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – The 4th Adivay Sepak Takraw Tournament crowned champions across multiple divisions with 55 teams in Benguet National High School at La Trinidad on Sunday, November 10.
In the 14 Years Below Girls category, Fearless BeNHS emerged victorious, claiming the champion title with Ansagan Mountaineers as the 1st runner-up, followed by Puguis Takrawista as the 2nd runner-up and Tuba Titans Girls in 3rd place. Josean Flames A led in individual standings, followed closely by Josean Flames B and Ansagan Mountaineers.
San Francisco KICCS clinched the championship for the Elementary Boys, and Candon City came in as the 1st runner-up, while Puguis Takawista secured both 2nd and 3rd runner-up spots. Candon City and San Fernando City also topped the standings for individual team rankings, with a strong showing from Puguis A, B, and C.
In the 15 Years Old and Above Girls division, Benguet State University (BSU) Mustangs A took home the champion title, closely followed by their counterparts, BSU Mustangs B. Baguito BBSTB Women and Ansagan Mountaineers claimed the 2nd and 3rd runner-up spots, respectively. Teams like Kapangan National High School team KNHS Kapangan, BBSTB Women, and Ansagan Mountaineers B also performed commendably under the guidance of dedicated coaches.
The High School Boys division saw fierce competition, with Batang Pinoy rising as champions. Tuba B and Tuba A took the 1st and 2nd runner-up positions, respectively, while Benguet National High School Team A rounded out the top four as 3rd runner-up.
In the Open Category Boys division, WAFU dominated to take the 1st place spot, followed by Cordillera Career and Development College (CCDC) Admirals x GILKHA in 2nd place and CCDC Admirals A in 3rd place. Competing teams such as Alumnice, Uprising, and Rocky Mountain rounded out a highly competitive category. By Michael Dadd
