TABUK CITY, Kalinga – Six local candidates participated in Part III of the “Know Your Candidates’ Forum” held on April 23 at the City Conference Hall.
The event drew participation from various sectors, including students from different schools, media representatives, and online viewers who actively engaged through comments and reactions.
The forum was witnessed by Kalinga Election Supervisor Atty. Ricardo Lampac of the Commission on Elections (COMELEC), who observed the proceedings and listened as candidates responded to questions from stakeholders.
In attendance were incumbent Councilors Eduardo Sacayle, Ivann Yannick Bagayao, Marc Rainier Duguiang, and Juan Tomas Duyan, all seeking re-election; incumbent Vice Mayor Dick Bal-o, running for the same position; and incumbent Mayor Darwin Estrañero, also seeking re-election.
The forum provided a platform for candidates to express their views on various issues affecting the city and to share their vision for the future of Tabuk.
Invited guests from various sectors were able to ask questions, allowing for an open exchange between candidates and constituents.
The event was spearheaded by the City Public Information Office in partnership with the COMELEC.
The next episode of the forum will take place on April 24, featuring candidates for Vice Governor, Governor, and the Lone District of Kalinga Province.
